      Hello, thanks for the post. I wonder what you mean with all-alkaline breakfast, can you suggest food that is alkaline?

      Ani:
      For a mostly ‘alkaline’ breakfast, you could try:
      -One apple, peeled and grated,
      -Approx one to two tablespoons of natural bran or ‘All Bran’,
      - Approx. three tablespoons of natural, preferably organic, yoghurt,
      - Approx one tablespoon of honey;
      - Approx. two ounces of ground almonds. (these contain protein, but actually behave as a ‘neutral’ food, and are an excellent food).

      “Acidic blood sets the stage for illness and disease.”

      Will you please explain this and provide some references to evidence that proves any of the “alkaline vs acidic” type stuff? My thought is these acid vs alkaline diets are nothing more than a way to make money off people who are naive.

      My understanding is that blood PH must always be between 7.35 - 7.45, or you’ll die. The body regulates your blood PH to keep within this range. So how can you have acidic blood upon waking up?

      I’d do some extensive research on this topic before claiming that there’s any benefit in eating “alkaline-forming” foods.
