good tips, but i've been doing a lot of these things and it seems that something is wrong or it's just no workin out for me. Don't get me wrong, i am a smart person. But everytime when i no that i'm about to make the honor roll, i miss it by 1 point! DARN!! Maybe i just gotta try a little harder. Even though i have 6 classes. That's kinda hard on me also. I study day and night and i still miss the honor roll by 1 point. I think my brain hates me! lol

I like point 1-6. Those are things anyone could do.

But what's up with point 7 "Meditation is a very powerful tool for becoming smarter". Don't think that'll work with me.

Some great tips! Far too many people allow their brains to decline and accept the myth that as you become older you basically have senility to look forward to.

I don't subscribe to that view. I love learning and continually stimulating my mind.

I do watch TV but I'm selective about what I watch. There are some excellent programs that are both educational and inspirational.

However, your point about turning off the box when with friends and having a conversation instead is a great idea.

It's a shame, but in an age where we have never been more connected to each other because of the Internet and numerous gadgets, many of us have lost the art of communication.
